  • Jealous God

One thing that has really stuck out to me when I was doing my study for Wednesday Night Youth is that we do have a very jealous God.

He goes all out with this jealousy, He goes as far as having His Son put to death just to get what He wants.  What is it that God wants?

God wants what is His.  He created us and He wants US.  God wanted us to choose to want Him, so He didn't create us as mindless zombies that only want one thing.  He wanted us to choose to want Him.

After the fall of Adam and Eve that separated the ability for God to have us.  It broke the bond we had with God.

God an all perfect being and then humans, once perfect struck with a plague.  A plague called SIN.  This sin is what keeps God longing for us.  He can't have us if we are sick.  He wants it so He can have all of us, not just the healthy parts.

God said in Exodus 20:4-5 within the Ten Commandments God stated that He is a jealous God and you shall not make any idols before me.  If we are not completely 100 percent for God then we have an idol in front of Him; whether its money, lust, friends, alcohol, drugs, grades, cars...

It doesn't matter how small you think it is.  If it is a stumbling block within your life then you are sick you need to get better, and allow God to have all of you.

He is only wanting one thing:  That is all of His creation to be 100% HIS.

The plague came in and ruined it, and God wants it back.

  • The UPDATE

For those of you that are wondering what has been happening in the life of ME, I will tell you.

Last Thrusday there was an accusation against me from a female resident at the facility that I work at.  The accusation was that I touched another resident, also female, in the side.

So from that day till Tuesday I was under investigation.  Well with the dreadful thought of being found guilty, losing my church ministry and also thinking about how I will be out of a job, and having to register on the Sex offender list every time I move.  It was a horrible day off for me on friday.

I was found innocent.  They said that after talking with the girl that was the victim and talking to other people in the same room that this happened in they found that it was a fabricated story that this resident made up.

Now I could have told them that but even those that are guilty of it would say that it is a fabricated story just to get rid of them.

So praise God, He is good and now I am sleeping at nights again.
